It’s Monday and there’s a new page! Let’s hope I can quickly fall into the Mon, Wed, Fri update schedule. I hope so.

Anyway, we are now in Chapter 6. I’ve been looking at the website a lot recently and have decided that it needs a new layout. I’m not entirely sure when this will happen. It’s funny, since I know quite a bit about computers but I haven’t taken the time to learn how to build a website and current lack the time to how. I also haven’t spoken to the community in a while so even if I was able to put one together, I wouldn’t know where to put the data to apply it to the site. If anyone would like to help me with a website, please let me know. I cannot afford to pay you, however, you will get full credit for the design. Could look good for a portfolio? I have a few ideas for how I’d like it to look, but nothing solid.

So, I’m jumping the gun. AkCC isn’t necessarily back in full swing but I just couldn’t wait for a bloody scanner to update. You’ll notice that the quality isn’t exactly 100%, but that’s because I’m currently using my digital camera until I can afford said scanner.

I’m hoping to update Mon, Wed, Fri for now. I do miss the 7 day and later the 5 day a week updates, but right now I’m working far too much while balancing school again.

There may or may not be other changes related to the website and comic in the near future. It has yet to be projected, discussed or seriously thought out, so for now, everything will remain relatively the same. That being said, HEY LOOK THE COMIC IS ONLINE! This revelation was going to be saved until the start of Chapter 6 but I couldn’t think of any more filler pages in between to bridge the chapter gap. Anyway, there’s a lot in store, particularly in the next two chapters so pay attention! As I’ve said since I started this comic, this goes in chapters like a book and the first “book” outline has been written up. I have recently started drafting the next “book” and events following this story, so when this “book” is over, it will not be the end of AkCC.

That being said, I’m exhausted. Enjoy the comic for now. I’ll try to update again on Monday. It’s been so long since I’ve worked on this, I’m out of practice.

For those of you who still wander around here, thank you for you infinite patience. Planning on and moving to Seattle has been much more trying that previously anticipated, but so far, it’s all been paying off.

Still without a scanner though, but a few techniques I’ve been playing with might make for adequate posts in the future, assuming I am unable to afford to obtain one.

Comic officially returning in March with Mon, Wed and Fri updates.

If you’re good, there might be a few updates between now and than.

So, as I last updated, I’m now in Seattle and am without a scanner. However, everything else is up and running! I now have all of my programs and files set up. There are several libraries close to my apartment so I might be abusing their scanner for a while. As soon as I can, I plan to buy a new or used scanner. Tomorrow my new tablet comes in.

Since I won’t be able to update for another month or so, I decided I needed to put something new up to tie people over until then. Unfortunately, a brainstorming session mixed with Hannibal Lecter, Pin Up posters and Halloween costumes lead to this thing. Hopefully this Aji/Allison pin up poster can hold you over until I can actually put up a damn strip. I have been working on the comic and thinking about it. I really have. I just don’t have any time or resources at the moment.

Thank you for sticking with me and putting up with this insanity. I will get back to your regularly scheduled madness as soon as I can! Thank you again for your continued support!

I got called into work yesterday, which lead to Thursday’s update being Friday’s. It’s a little late, but here it is. Again, I’m not promising anything. Right now I’m trying to adapt to writing the comic and going to work. In another few weeks, updates should be regular.

So um, I hope no one out there wants to murder me for disappearing for so long. Things got pretty hectic and busy and a lot of other crap…. yeah.

The first thing I want to do is apologize for delaying this for so long. I truly am sorry and had I been able to update, I would’ve. Please do no murder me. I would prefer if you didn’t. The next thing I’d like to say is, YAY! WE’RE BACK! Like really back. Not that “I”m going to try” stuff. No, this is for real back. As in I’m going to be working my butt off again back. Writing, be it comic books or novels or whatever, is what I want to do with my life. This isn’t a hobby for me. This is something I want to do with my life, and I cannot express how frustrating it has been the last several months.

If all goes well, [and I can track down the elusive RT], things should be back in full swing soon! I don’t want to say too much now, in case some of it has to be pushed back or go through, but trust me, I’ve got big plans! [Possibly a release of Volume 2 within the next 4-5 months?!?!?!?!?!?!]

Anyway, I should probably boogie, but THANK YOU for sticking with me and for your patience and lack of attacking me with sharp objects! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
